Heidegger on mormon.org

Mormon.org seems to fit well with what Heidegger would suggest.  Heidegger says that things have to be personally applicable, inspired by new and meaningful content, and driven to act and make changes (sometimes hard ones) to actualize better potential.

The profiles that members provide speak to all the points in an indirect way.  The stories of those profiles often include how specific teachings have had an affect on them, how they have continued to learn from that point, and how much better they are doing because of those choices.  Perhaps the only thing that Heidegger would suggest is to be more forward about what the site offers.  This is a sensitive task, but often people won't participate as much unless bluntly invited to do so.
